Fillings
A filling can be used to restore the function and shape of a tooth, which is needed as a result of removing decay or through trauma.
There are two basic types of dental filling available: amalgam and composite.
Amalgam fillings are made of mercury, silver, copper and tin. Composite
fillings are typically made of glass particles, resin and a setting ingredient. These are often called ‘white’ fillings but dentists actually use a range of different shades – we will choose the right one to exactly match the natural colour of your teeth.
